2015 Mermerus Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with a slight tinge of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. Lifted white peach and dried honey aromas meld into some cashew followed by hints of nougat and spice. Medium bodied the palate possesses good fruit richness and an elegant creamy textural feel with flavours of white peaches and delicate apricot overlaid by dried honey, cashew and spice. Clean dry finish with well balanced fresh acidity. Aftertaste of ripe peaches, dried honey, cashew and spice.
