2015 McGuigan The Short List Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured in new French and American oak for 16 months. Totally opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of blackcurrant and mulberries infused with black olives are trailed by cedary tobacco characters and spicy bay leaf end notes. Medium to full bodied, rich blackcurrant flavours laced with bay leaf sit over some liquorice, cedary tobacco characters and spice. Fine grained tannins integrate perfectly with the fruit. Long spicy blackcurrant, bay leaf, liquorice and cedary tobacco character aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
