2015 Maude Pinot Noir

Semi translucent bright dark red colour with tinges of black around the edges and a crimson purple hue. Fragrant violet top notes intertwine themselves with some dark cherries, plum and anise followed by spicy cedar. Possessing a great power wave the palate is flooded with rich generous, almost juicy like flavours of ripe dark cherries and plum with subtle anise infusions and spicy cedar also present. Supple textural feel with velvet smooth tannins. Long savoury finish of ripe dark cherries, plum, subtle anise, a touch of meatiness and spicy cedar.
