2015 Mastrojanni Rosso di Montalcino

Opaque dark red black core with a very dark red hue. Pronounced ripe blackcurrant and dark cherry aromas subtlety infused with dried herbs are trailed by earth, cedar, new leather and spice notes. Rich blackcurrant, dark and dried cherry fruits flood the medium to full bodied palate whilst still retaining a sense of finesse. Earth, dried herbs, spicy cedar and leather elements then move in. Dry slightly chewy finish with firmly built tannins. Excellent depth with a long spicy dark fruit, dried herb and earthy leather aftertaste.
