2015 Main Divide Pinot Noir

Matured for 18 months in French oak. Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Intense ripe dark cherry and anise scents are trailed by subtlety smoked cedar, forest floor, some meatiness and spicy fresh herb notes. Rich ripe dark to black cherry and anise flavours sit over a back drop of toasty oak, dried meats and spice. Good fleshy mouthfeel with velvet like tannins that nonetheless have an underlying sturdiness. Finishes medium to long with spicy dark to black cherries, anise, toasty oak and subtle dried herbs.
