2015 M.Chapoutier Tournon Mathilda Chapoutier Shiraz

Totally opaque dark purple black colour with a dark red hue. Lifted aromas of liquorice and dark plums merge into some smoky vanillin cedar, fennel, earth and spicy pepper notes. Rich spicy dark plum, blackberry and liquorice flavours hold their own on a medium to full bodied palate that shows excellent concentration. Plush opulent feel with a back drop of smoky vanillin cedar and earthy pepper. Excellent length with slightly chewy but perfectly balanced tannins. Long spicy dark plum, blackberry, liquorice, smoky cedar and earthy pepper aftertaste.
