2015 Knight Granite Hills Riesling

Produced from 46 year old vines. Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Aromas of lime and green apple overlay citrus fruits, hints of wet steel and faint toast. Possessing both great intensity and structure the palate is filled with lime and green apple flavours that meld into some citrus with an underlying steeliness and light toast. Mineral characters follow on the dry finish with crunchy acidity. Long lemon, lime, green apple, wet steel and mineral aftertaste. An intensely flavoured Riesling with a steely backbone that bodes well for cellaring.
