2015 J&J Wines Shiraz

Fruit was sourced from Langhorne Creek and McLaren Vale to make this wine. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Aromas of spicy dark plum and liquorice sit over vanillin cedar, faint hints of earth and pepper. Juicy dark plum, liquorice and subtle dark chocolate flavours fill the mouth underpinned by lightly toasted vanillin cedar and spice. Supplely textured mouthfeel and velvet smooth tannins with a lick of bright acidity on the finish. Medium to long aftertaste of juicy dark plums, liquorice, vanillin cedar and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
