2015 Hunter-Gatherer Pinot Noir

Aged in French oak barrels for 15 months. Semi translucent dark red colour with a light red hue. Scented aromas of ripe strawberries laced with anise are pursued by toasty vanillin cedar and spice. Supplely textured the palate has flavours of anise and ripe strawberries intermixing with prominent vanillin cedar and spice. Soft velvety tannins. Aftertaste of dark strawberries, anise and spicy vanillin cedar.

From the estate vineyard and a vineyard at Romsey, matured in French oak for 15 months. It is a pinot with considerable attitude, the colour full and bright, the bouquet and palate gifted with abundant red and black cherry fruits given texture and context by fine, ripe tannins. Macedon also enjoyed the '15 vintage. Drink by 2027.
