2015 Howard Vineyard Shiraz

Opaque dark red black colour with a bright purple red hue. Aromas of dark cherries and liquorice are overlaid by some meaty characters followed by smoky vanillin cedar and pepper notes. Medium bodied and very elegant in its mouthfeel the palate has flavours of dark cherries and liquorice which meld into some earthy dried meat characters, spicy vanillin cedar and pepper. Dryish finish with slightly chewy tannins. Aftertaste of spicy dark cherries, liquorice, dried meats, earthy cedar and pepper. A very elegant, Northern Rhone styled Shiraz.
