2015 Higher Plane Reserve Chardonnay

Matured in French oak on yeast lees for 10 months. Gleaming very pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Fleshy white peach and nectarine aromas are married to some dried honey and cashew with citrusy nougat end notes. Medium bodied with an underlying freshness and good richness, flavours of white peaches and nectarines intermingle with dried honey and bees wax characters over a back drop of subtle cashew and citrusy nougat. A creamy like mouthfeel offset against lively acidity. Medium to long aftertaste of white peaches, dried honey, bees wax, cashew and citrusy nougat.
