2015 Halos de Jupiter Costieres de Nimes

A blend of 75% Grenache, 15% Syrah & 10% Mourvèdre aged in concrete vats for 6 months.

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a crimson red hue. Pronounced ripe dark raspberry scents intermix with cherry and liquorice aromas over subtle infusions of incense, spicy earth and pepper. Medium bodied, juicy dark raspberry, dark cherry and liquorice flavours prevail over a back drop of lightly scorched earth and pepper. The fruits opulence counterpointed by ripe chewy tannins. Good length and breadth with a spicy dark raspberry, dark cherry, liquorice and peppered scorched earth aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
