2015 Greywacke Wild Sauvignon

Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Pronounced unripe passionfruit and herbaceous gooseberry aromas intermix with dried herbs, subtle grassy asparagus and light pencil shaving characters. Fullish mid palate feel with brown pear, zesty citrus and gooseberry flavours overlaying herbaceous grassy asparagus characters, light pencil shavings and spice. Dry finish with vibrant fresh acidity and a long herbaceous gooseberry, subtle passionfruit, brown pear, citrus, grassy asparagus and spicy pencil shaving aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
