2015 Grampians Estate Streeton Reserve Shiraz

Aged in new French oak. Impenetrable midnight black dark purple core with a deep dark purple black tinged hue. Aromas of blackberries and plum are overlaid by liquorice followed by vanillin cedar and spice. Medium bodied with an elegant fleshy textured mouthfeel the palate dishes up savoury flavours of blackberries, plums and liquorice over vanillin cedar and spice. It still has a youthful sense of freshness to it. The silky smooth tannins are perfectly integrated to the point that they are largely undiscernible. Aftertaste of blackberries, plums, liquorice, vanillin cedar and light spice.
