2015 Goldfields Beechworth Shiraz

Semi translucent bright red purple colour with a light crimson purple hue. Smoky clove like characters and blackpepper are mixed in with some dried meats, dark cherries and hints of liquorice. Light and very elegant the palate has flavours of dried cloves, smoky cedar, some meatiness, cherries and blackpepper. Supple mouthfeel with very finely grained tannins. Aftertaste of cherries, dried clove, some meatiness, smoky cedar and pepper. An elegant, Pinot like version of Shiraz.
