A blend 78% Shiraz (50–80 year old vines) and 22% Grenache (50–110 year old vines) sourced from the famed Ebenezer sub-district at the northern tip of the Barossa Valley. The Grenache component sees minimal oak contact in order to preserve the purity of fruit whilst the Shiraz was matured for 16 months in 2-3 year old hogshead barrels (80% French/20% American).

Opaque black dark red colour with a bright red purple hue. Elevated aromas of liquorice, freshly crushed dark raspberries and plum laced with subtle incense infusions are followed by spice end notes. Plump and juicy the palate dishes up a youthful but delicious serve of freshly crushed raspberries, liquorice and plum flavours over some very spicy vanillin cedar. Bright acidity provides the wine with a fresh finish. Fine grained tannins. Long aftertaste of spicy freshly crushed dark raspberries, liquorice, plum and vanillin cedar.
Cellar 5-6 years.
Alc. 14.5%
