2015 Giant Steps Primavera Vineyard Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with a crimson red hue. Fragrant dark cherry and strawberry aromas overlaid with spicy clove are followed by some smoked meats and toasty cedar. Rich and supple in texture the palate is both spicy and meaty with prominent clove like infusions. Ripe dark cherry, strawberry and toasty cedar are also present. Excellent concentration and power with very finely grained, yet structured tannins. Long aftertaste of spicy ripe dark cherries, strawberries, clove, dried meats and spicy cedar.
