2015 Farr Rising Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a bright purple red hue. Fragrantly scented nose with dark cherries and liquorice infused with some meatiness, subtle dried cloves and smoky black pepper. Medium bodied and powerful, yet retaining a cool climate elegance, the rich savoury palate is decorated with ripe dark cherries and liquorice that intermingle with dried cloves, smoked meats, spicy cedar and pepper. Fine grained well integrated tannins frame the fruit. Excellent concentration with a long aftertaste of spicy ripe dark cherries, a hint of liquorice, dried clove infusions, smoked meats, spicy cedar and pepper. An outstanding example of cool climate Shiraz.
