2015 Erth 1654 Heathcote Syrah

Totally opaque black dark purple colour with a dark purple hue. The nose reveals dark plum and aniseed aromas followed by traces of mint, faint earth and spicy cedar. Rich juicy dark plum and liquorice flavours dominate the palate over a back drop of lightly scorched earth, infusions of mint, dried meats and spicy cedar. A solid tannin structure providing a good framework. Savoury aftertaste of dark plum, liquorice, mint, lightly toasted cedar, some meatiness and spice.
