As is almost always the case, this is more aromatically elegant with its pure and cool essence of dark raspberry and cherry aromas that are well-nuanced by wisps of earth, spice and rose petal. The sleekly muscular broad-shouldered flavors possess excellent concentration and plenty of sappy dry extract that coats the palate and buffers the markedly firm and sneaky long finale where a trace of warmth appears. If you have the patience this should make for a terrific wine in time.
