2015 Dandelion Vineyards Pride of Fleurieu Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured in some new and predominately old French oak barriques for 18 months. Excellent depth of colour displaying an impenetrable black as night core with a deep bright dark red black hue. Mulberry and black currant aromatics emerge from the glass followed by hints of bay leaf, dusty cedary tobacco characters and spice. Medium weighted with mulberry and red to black currant and liquorice flavours infused with cedary tobacco characters over spicy bay leaf. Well integrated finely grained tannins provide some grip on the dryish finish. Aftertaste of mulberries, blackcurrant, cedary tobacco characters and spicy bay leaf.
