2015 Crittenden Estate Kangerong Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with a bright dark crimson red hue. Lifted dark cherry and strawberry aromas merge into some meaty notes, vanillin cedar and spicy earth. Light and youthful flavours of dark cherries and strawberries are intermixed with earthy dried meat like characters, toasty cedar and spice. Shows good depth with finely grained tannins and a slightly dryish, bright finish. Savoury and meaty it concludes with an aftertaste of spicy dark cherries, earth, dried meats and spicy toasted cedar.
