2015 Chalk Hill Cabernet Sauvignon

Aged in a combination of new, second and third use French oak of which 20% was new. Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Lifted red to blackcurrant and mulberry aromas are married to cedary tobacco characters with spicy dried herb end notes. Medium to full bodied, generous red to blackcurrant and mulberry flavours intermingle with subtle cedary tobacco characters and infusions of bay leaf. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of spicy ripe red currant, mulberry, cedary tobacco characters and light bay leaf.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
