2015 Bruno Giacosa Nebbiolo D'Alba

Semi translucent dark red colour with a red to brick red hue. The nose displays good perfumed lift with aromatics of roses intermixing with Morello and dark cherries, light earth, subtle leather and spicy dried herbs. Rich and concentrated yet bright and elegant at the same time, the palate is filled with ripe red and Morello cherry flavours over infusions of violet, subtle earthy leather characters and dried herbs. Finishes spicy with very fresh acidity and dry, slightly grainy tannins. Excellent length with a long chewy red fruited, spice, earth and dried herb aftertaste.
