2014 Zonte's Footstep Violet Beauregard Malbec

Opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red purple hue. Nosing reveals aromas of blueberries, plum, dark raspberries, liquorice and spice. Plump flavours of ripe dark plum, dark raspberries and blueberries are intermixed with traces of liquorice followed by some earth and spice on the back palate. Opulent mouthfeel with sturdy yet velvet like tannins. Aftertaste of ripe dark blueberries, dark plum, black raspberries and spicy earth. A round opulent Malbec packed with juicy fruit.
