2014 Woodstock Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Elevated aromas of ripe blackberry, liquorice and dark chocolate overlay vanillin oak, a hint of earth and spice. Rich and opulent in its mouthfeel the palate boasts generous flavours of liquorice, dark chocolate and ripe blackberries infused with vanillin oak concluding with some spicy mocha on the finish. Fine grained yet relatively sturdy tannins provide the necessary support. Medium to long aftertaste of liquorice, dark chocolate, blackberries, vanillin oak and spicy mocha.
Cellar 4-5 years.
