2014 Wild Rock Cupids Arrow Pinot Noir

Aged in French oak barriques, of which 12% were new, for a period of 10 months. Semi translucent dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark crimson hue. Fragrant aromas of dark cherries and strawberries laced with anise overlay nuances of toasty oak and spice. Light to medium weight the palate sports a delicious flavour profile of ripe dark cherries, dark plums and anise followed by lightly toasted cedar, earth and a spicy finish. Supple mouthfeel with fine grained tannins and a medium to long aftertaste of spicy dark cherries, dark plums, some anise and toasty earth.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
