2014 Tyrrell's Wines Special Release Hunter Valley Shiraz

Deep dark red black tinged colour with a bright purple crimson red hue. Aromas of ripe dark cherries and liquorice are overlaid by earth and dried meats followed by vanillin cedar and spice. Medium bodied with a soft elegant textural feel the palate has flavours of plum, dark cherries and liquorice that intermingle with earthy vanillin cedar and spice. Slightly dryish but finely grained tannins with an aftertaste of plum, dark cherries, liquorice, scorched earth and spicy vanillin cedar.
Cellar 5-6 years.
