2014 Twinwoods Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

Aged in 50% new French oak. Deep dark red black tinged core with a very dark red hue. The nose exhibits mulberry and red currant scents which are overlaid by dried herbs and fresh tobacco with finishing black olive and spicy cedar notes. Medium bodied the palate has flavours of ripe red currant and mulberries underpinned by infusions of dried herbs, cedary tobacco characters and spice. Elegant fleshy feel with finely grained perfectly integrated tannins. Long savoury aftertaste of spicy red currant, mulberries, dried herbs, tobacco and pencil shavings.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
