2014 Thorn Clarke Shotfire Shiraz

Excellent colour displaying a midnight black core with a deep dark purple black hue. Elevated aromas of blackberries, liquorice and dark plum overlay less prominent notes of dark chocolate, toasty vanillin oak and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate has flavours of blackberries, liquorice and dark chocolate which overlay a backdrop of toasty vanillin oak and spice. The wines opulence tightens up on the finish with a sturdy drying tannin base. Aftertaste of blackberries, dark chocolate, liquorice and spicy toasted oak.
