2014 The Willows Vineyard Shiraz

Pitch black core with a deep dark red black hue. Pronounced liquorice and aniseed aromas dominate over blackberry, vanillin cedar, scorched earth and spicy pepper notes. Rich, opulently textured liquorice and blackberry flavours overlay toasty vanillin oak, scorched earth and traces of graphite with a blackpepper infused finish. Sturdy tannins form the underbelly. Excellent power with a long liquorice, black cherry, blackberry, toasty vanillin oak, scorched earth and blackpepper aftertaste.
