2014 The Hedonist Tempranillo

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a very dark red black tinged hue. Nosing reveals scents of black cherries and liquorice over some earth, vanillin cedar and spice. Medium to full bodied with rich black cherry and liquorice flavours to the fore followed by spicy vanillin cedar and subtle earthy dried meat characters. Slightly chewy on the finish with the tannins providing some grip. Aftertaste of black cherries, liquorice, spicy vanillin cedar and earth.
Cellar 3-4 years.
