2014 The Edge Pinot Gris

Brilliant pale straw colour with a watery hue. The nose displays fresh pear scents alongside some red apple, citrus and light spicy musk end notes. Medium weight the palate has good freshness and a nice textural feel but bears little resemblance to a classically styled Alsace Pinot Gris. Flavours of pears and apples are overlaid by some musk with spice on the dry finish. Aftertaste of ripe pear, apple and spicy musk.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
