2014 Tar & Roses Sangiovese

Deep dark red black tinged colour with a dark crimson red hue. Scented aromas of ripe dark cherries and fresh plum are followed by cedar and light herb end notes. Medium weight the palate has an upfront juiciness with both generous and savoury flavours of ripe dark cherries and plums over some light cedar, earth and spice. It firms up towards the dry finish with slightly chalky but balanced tannins. Aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, plum and spicy earth characters.
