2014 Swinney Ingenue

A blend of Riesling, Pinot Gris & Gewurztraminer. Brilliant water like colour with light but distinctive greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Aromas of ripe apple and pear are intermixed with some lychee, subtle rose petal and light spice notes. Quite flavoursome the palates texture is strongly influenced by the Pinot Gris and Gewürztraminer components delivering flavours of ripe pear, lychee and ripe apple followed by a touch of spice on the dry finish. Aftertaste of ripe pears, lychees and a touch of spice.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
