2014 Summerfield Tradition

A blend of Shiraz, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Totally opaque midnight black core with a bright very dark purple hue. Pronounced ripe blackberry, plum and liquorice aromas arise from the glass with some mint infusions, vanillin oak and spice also evident. Medium weight the palate has a soft supplely textured feel and features flavours of ripe plum and liquorice that show ample richness. Traces of mint and spicy vanillin cedar follow on. Velvet smooth tannins and well balanced acidity. Aftertaste of spicy ripe plums, liquorice, subtle mint infusions and vanillin cedar.
Cellar 4-5 years.
