2014 Stonier Pinot Noir

Elegant and savoury, this Pinot was matured for 10 months in French oak barriques. Semi translucent bright dark red colour with a dark crimson red hue. The nose shows good intensity and complexity with a fragrant profile of dark cherries and strawberries prevalent over some stalky clove like characters, a hint of anise and spicy cedar. Light weight the palate has a supple mouthfeel and features flavours of red and dark cherries intermixed together alongside some strawberry with underlying stalky characters and spicy cedar. Very fine grained velvet like tannin structure. Aftertaste of red cherries, strawberries, stalky cedar and spice.
