Produced from an area known as the ‘Golden Mile’ located within the Marlborough region which is highly regarded for its outstanding growing conditions due to the fact that’s covered with stones left by an ancient riverbed. These stones soak up the warmth of the sun’s rays by day and radiate that heat to help ripen the grapes by night.

A component of this wine was fermented in a large aged wooden oak cuvee to add texture and weight. Brilliant water like colour with a faint greenish tinge around the edges and a watery hue. Pronounced aromas of passionfruit, ripe herbaceous gooseberry and citrus are followed by hints of grassy capsicum. Intense flavours of passionfruit dominate the palate alongside some herbaceous gooseberry, citrus and faint capsicum. Clean crisp acidity provides a vibrant finish. Long aftertaste of passionfruit, herbaceous gooseberry and flinty citrusy mineral.
