2014 Shottesbrooke Shiraz

Opaque dark purple black colour with a bright purple crimson hue. Youthful, inky nose of freshly crushed berry fruits including plum, ripe dark cherries and liquorice with some inky vanillin spice end notes. Medium bodied, ripe and juicy the palate features succulent flavours of blackberry, liquorice and dark plum followed by some inky spice like characters on the finish. Soft velvety tannins. Good length with a medium to long ripe blackberry, liquorice, plum and inky spice aftertaste. A very easy going quaffer.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
