2014 Shaw & Smith M3 Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with a tinge of green around the edges and a watery hue. The nose exhibits lifted white peach and nectarine notes over some subtle dried honey, cashew, nougat and spice. Light, fresh and elegant the palate has a delicate flavour profile of white peaches and nectarines with nuances of cashew, faint dried honey and spice also present. Clean dry finish with a medium to long aftertaste of white peach, nectarine, cashew, light toast and spice. Needs some time to fill out.
