2014 Sevenhill Inigo Shiraz

Excellent colour saturation displaying an impenetrable inky black core with a very deep dark red-black hue. Fragrant aromas of liquorice intermixed with ripe black cherries and blackberries are followed by lightly toasted vanillin oak and spicy pepper notes. Decadently rich blackberry, liquorice and ripe black cherry flavours flood the palate over a back drop of toasty vanillin oak and spice. Despite the opulence of the fruit the finish is firm with sturdy tannins providing a great framework. Excellent length with a long liquorice, black cherry liqueur, blackberry, toasty vanillin oak and spicy pepper aftertaste. A big dense Clare Shiraz loaded with fruit and underpinned by a firm structure.
