The Schwarz Shiraz is sourced from various old-vine vineyards across the Barossa. Each individual parcel is vinified separately in small ferments before aging in seasoned oak barrels before blending.

A Delicious, plushly textured Barossa Shiraz packed with succulent fruit.

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Seductive aromas of dark plum and liquorice laced with fennel and smoky oak blossom from the glass with background notes of clove and pepper. Rich, flavour packed and possessing a slippery satin like textural feel the palate is filled with dark plum and liquorice that intermix with fennel, clove, smoky cedar and spicy pepper nuances. Very polished tannins. Excellent depth and concentration with a long spicy dark plum, liquorice, fennel and clove infused, smoky cedar and pepper aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
Alc 14.2%

Other Reviews…
Thirteen parcels from six districts, open-fermented, 15% whole bunches, 15 months in French oak. No holds barred, crammed full of black fruits, fresh, poached and dried, yet holds its line very well. Drink by 2034.
