2014 Schwarz Wine Co. Nitschke Block Shiraz

Displays a saturated inky black core with a very deep dark red black hue. Intense liquorice and dark plum aromas are overlaid by fennel and smoky cedar nuances with some dried meats, clove and spicy pepper ensuing. The palate is one of great concentration with rich, plushly textured fruit flavours of liquorice and dark plum melding into a tapestry of fennel, clove, smoky cedar, spicy dried herbs and pepper. Velvety yet structured tannins. Outstanding power with a long conclusion of spicy liquorice, dark plums, clove, fennel, smoky cedar and pepper.
