2014 Sarsfield Estate Pinot Noir

Matured in French oak for 18 months. Semi translucent dark red colour with a light red hue. Perfumed aromas of violets and dark cherries intermix with earthy anise like scents over hints of dried clove and spicy cedar. Rich fleshy palate with flavours of ripe black cherries, Morello cherries and plum overlaying earthy anise like characters and smoky cedar. Supple tannins. Excellent power with a long conclusion of spicy black and Morello cherries, anise, earth and smoky cedar. A rich, seductive Pinot.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
