2014 Rockbare Tempranillo

Matured for 15 months in large format French oak. Opaque dark red black colour with a bright dark red hue. On the nose lifted black cherry aromas are followed by some black plum, a hint of liquorice and spice. Medium to full bodied with good ripeness the palate features generous almost juicy flavours of black cherries, black plum, some liquorice, earthy leather like characters and spice with a chewy dry finish. Robust sturdy tannin structure with a medium to long black cherry, liquorice, new leather and spice aftertaste.
Cellar 4-5 years.
