2014 Raidis Estate Billy Cabernet Sauvignon

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Aromatics of ripe blackcurrant tinged with liquorice, dried herbs and tobacco rise out of the glass followed by black olives and spicy toasted cedar. Medium to full bodied the palate sports a concentrated flavour profile of ripe blackcurrants and liquorice infused with black olives over cedary tobacco and spice nuances. Dry dusty tannins provide some grip on the finish and give the wine a firmish feel. Aftertaste of earthy blackcurrant, black olives, cedary tobacco characters and spice.
