2014 Quarisa Treasures Shiraz

Totally opaque black as night core with a deep dark purple black tinged hue. Showing very good intensity nosing yields aromas of liquorice and ripe blackberries followed by hints of dark chocolate, a good dose of vanillin oak and spice. Awash with opulent flavours of ripe blackberries, liquorice and dark chocolate the palate boasts impressive weight and richness over a backdrop of toasty vanillin oak and spice. Excellent concentration and depth for the price. Velvety tannins with a long aftertaste of succulent ripe blackberries, liquorice, dark chocolate, toasty vanillin oak and spice. A classically styled, full bodied McLaren Vale Shiraz stacked with opulent black fruits and a decent whack of vanillin oak to go with it.
