2014 Principia Chardonnay

Matured in French oak for approximately 18 months. Brilliant straw colour with some greenish highlights around the edges and a watery hue. Elevated aromas of ripe peaches and apricots intermixed with bees wax and traces of lemon butter are followed by some distinct cashew and spice notes. Rich and creamy yet with remarkable freshness on the finish the palate possesses ripe peach and apricot flavours laced with lemon butter over some subtle bees wax infusions, light cashew and spice. Clean dry finish with a long aftertaste of peaches, apricots, lemon butter, bees wax and faint cashew.
Cellar 4-5 years.
