2014 Plantagenet Aquitaine Cabernet Sauvignon

Totally opaque dark red black colour with a deep dark red hue. Nosing reveals a mixture of blackcurrant and mulberry aromatics that merge with some cedary tobacco characters followed by hints of bay leaf and other spicy dried herbs. Medium weight, combining richness with elegance, blackcurrant and mulberry flavours adorn the palate underpinned by subtle cedary cigar box characters, bay leaf and spicy dried herb infusions. The rich nature of the fruit and finely grained tannins providing the mouthfeel with a degree of suppleness. Slightly dryish finish with a long aftertaste of blackcurrant, mulberries, cedary tobacco characters, faint bay leaf and spicy dried herb infusions.
