2014 Opawa Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with black tinged edges and a crimson red hue. Fragrant strawberry, violet and red cherry scents are overlaid by some stalky dried herb like notes and subtle spicy cedar. Light in body the palate sports a combination of red cherry, strawberry and a dash of sour cherries over some stalky dried herb infusions and spicy cedar. Good length with slightly dryish but otherwise finely grained tannins. Concludes with an aftertaste of spicy red cherries, strawberries, stalky dried herbs and meaty cedar.
